Dr. Joshua Sebu

Senior Lecturer in Economics and Data Science

Dr. Joshua Sebu is a Senior Lecturer and survey data specialist affiliated with C-DAMAA. His research spans energy economics, financial inclusion, household welfare, food security, and health and religion. He brings substantial methodological expertise in advanced econometrics, survey design, and monitoring and evaluation, and has collaborated on international research projects supported by organisations including CGIAR and the Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries (PEDL) programme.

He has served in a number of institutional roles at UCC, including as Registration and Examination Officer, as a member of the Faculty of Law Board, and as Hall Tutor at Atlantic Hall. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and his work has contributed to a deeper understanding of energy poverty, women's empowerment and household welfare across Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa.
