Where the Department sits

DSEP is one of three specialist departments within the School of Economics at the University of Cape Coast. Together, these three departments form an integrated academic ecosystem that provides a comprehensive range of economics education, from foundational theory through applied analysis to data-driven policy work.

The School of Economics is part of the College of Humanities and Legal Studies. The University of Cape Coast is one of Ghana's leading public universities, with a long-standing commitment to research, teaching, and community engagement. The University's broader infrastructure — including the UCC Library, the ICT Directorate, and the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Consultancy — supports and complements the Department's work.
